Gratitude
Gratitude drives The Motherline to take action on behalf of the hope we share for our planet to heal. Centuries of short sighted extraction have left our beautiful home, Planet Earth, in a dire way. It is our gratitude for all that Gaia affords us and our children that inspires us to a vision of Rural ReciProsperity for our own community, and ReciProsperity for the planet at large. As homesteaders, we live in communion with nature, and we want to share that symbiotic relationship outward. It is hard to remember, when we live in the city, that underneath all the concrete is our planet…. that her watersheds are how we drink, and her soils are how we eat. If we only walk into a store to buy things, it is an easy leap to imagine the planet isn’t even there at all. But she is, and she needs us to take action to protect her, for all our children. In an age where fashionable funding defines the economic resources available to communities trying to do good, it is also an easy leap for us to be grateful for the individuals, entities, foundations and businesses that support the vision of ReciProsperity. We vote with our dollars every day, so please join us in supporting the folks who make our work possible!
